Paul Turpin is a retired Master
Sergeant of Special Forces having served over 21 years in the U.S.
Army, the majority of his service with 7th Special Forces Group.
During his military service Paul served primarily with the Airborne
Infantry and Special Forces and was twice assigned to the 18th
Airborne Corps Rifle Team where he successfully competed in High Power
competition with the M-14.
He has also served as sniper and sniper instructor throughout
his career. Currently employed by the State of California as a peace
officer, Paul is a State certified Range Master, Tactical Firearms
Instructor, and Master Training for Trainers instructor.
He is also certified instructor in chemical agents, less-lethal
munitions, and the ASP baton. He has been utilized by his department’s
Emergency Operations Unit as a trainer, planner, and curriculum
developer for their Crisis Response Teams.
A life-long student of
firearms his greatest goal is to produce exceptional shooters by
passing along his wealth of knowledge and experience. Paul’s
well-rounded experience provides great insight into both the technical
and tactical aspects of firearms and law-enforcement training.
